BLEACH storyboards will not win any art awards, but they do offer a glimpse into the making of this addictive series. Displayed here currently: Episode 1, in which we are introduced to our hero, the intrepid, spirit-seeing Ichigo, his somewhat unorthodox family, and the mysterious figure in black, Rukia, who will change his life in ways he never could have imagined; Episode 9, where Ichigo fights the Hollow who murdered his Mother; Episode 12, where Ishida challenges Ichigo to see who can dispatch the most Hollows; Episode 16, where first Ishida, and then Ichigo, trys to protect Rukia from being taken back to Soul Society to face punishment; and Episode 33, a home-world filler episode featuring Kanonji, the Karakura Kids, and a cat that looks like Ichigo. Some of the scenes of Episode 16 can be also seen in the Layouts and Backgrounds section of this site. The storyboards are complete.
